Tulsa Man Out Walking Dog Hit By Shotgun Blast

Tulsa police say a man out walking his dog around 11th and Quincy got into an argument with another man and was shot in the face with a shotgun.

Tulsa police say a man was wounded in a shooting that took place in the 1100 block of South Quincy Avenue around 9:30 p.m. on Sunday.

EMSA transported him to a local hospital where authorities say he's in critical condition.

The man was out walking his dog when police say he got into an argument with another man. The shooter shot the victim with a shotgun then ran off to the northwest.

Officers say the shooting victim was badly hurt after being hit with buckshot in the face and shoulders.The buckshot also shattered a nearby window in the densely populated area, but no one else was injured.

Tulsa Police searched for the shooter but haven't found him. They don't have a good description of him.
