News On 6 Works To Support Restaurant Week

News On Six is helping support Restaurant Week, and raise money for hungry children.

Local celebrities, like our very own LeAnne Taylor, Mike Grogan and Terry Hood waited tables Tuesday to help support the cause.

LeAnne spent the lunch hour at the Yokozuna at 91st and Yale, Mike was at The Vault Tuesday night while Terry waited tables at The Tavern.

Those are just three of several Tulsa restaurants offering special fixed-price meals this week.

Ten percent of each meal goes to the Food For Kids program, at the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma.

The George Kaiser Family Foundation will match donations up to $25,000.

Restaurant Week runs through Sunday. You can find a list of restaurants involved online.
