Two men and a woman are in jail after Tulsa Police officers found drugs and gun in an apartment directly across the street from Booker T Washington High School.

Thursday, officers with the Tulsa Police Department Gang Unit served a search warrant at 2144 North St. Louis Avenue and found methamphetamine, marijuana, other items used for distribution and firearms.

Officers said they arrested Curtis Barnes, 55, Carlos Thompson, 31,and Megan Payne, 31, of Claremore who were inside the apartment when the search warrant was served. The report says Barnes lives at the apartment and that Thompson is often there.  And Payne had spent the night.

Jail records show Barnes and Thompson are being held on complaints including possession of a drug within 1,000 feet of a school and possession of a firearm after former conviction of a felony. Payne was booked into the Tulsa County jail on a complaint of being in possession of a drug within 1,000 feet of a school and possession of marijuana.

Both Barnes and Thompson are each being held on a $95,000 bond and Payne on $2,750 bond.  All three have a court appearance set for September 11, 2014.
