One man is dead after his car was hit by a train in Pawnee County.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said Paul Wayne Watson, 49 of Maramec, was driving eastbound on CR 5200 when his vehicle was hit by a northbound train.
They said his car failed to yield for the train and was hit in the front passenger side, rolled off the road and landed on its top. Reports say Watson was partially thrown through the passenger window and pinned underneath the vehicle for about two hours.
OHP said he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two other passengers were in the car as well. 49-year-old Terri Watson was taken to a Tulsa hospital arm, leg and internal injuries. OHP said a juvenile female was taken to a Cleveland hospital and released.
Reports say seats belts were in use by all except the driver.
