Silver Alert Canceled For Missing Muskogee Elderly Man

The Muskogee Police Department canceled a Silver Alert for an elderly man who was missing from a nursing home.

In a news release, police said they found Atchilee Derrick, 91, at about 9 a.m. near West 40th Street North and North 40th Street West. The location is near a sand plant at Highway 69 and the Arkansas River.  

Derrick was reported missing from the Brentwood Care Center at 841 North 38th Street at 4 a.m. Police said he was checked by medical personnel and was in good condition.
