Thousands Missing From Owasso Parent-Teacher Organization

Thousands of dollars are missing from a Green Country parent-teacher group. Owasso detectives said a Mills Elementary School mother stole the money.

Investigators said an audit by the Mills Action Club showed it was several thousand dollars short. 

"It's definitely a concerning situation, anytime you're dealing with funds that are intended to help kids and there's a discrepancy with that, or there may be some wrong-doing, it's something we're definitely going to take a look in to,” said Deputy Chief Jason Woodruff, Owasso Police.

Police are not releasing the woman's name and said the investigation has been turned over the Tulsa County district attorney's office.
