Oklahoma state troopers say a traffic stop turned into a pursuit when a woman who was drinking while driving refused to pull over.
It happened during the end of rush hour in Tulsa on Wednesday, and details of her arrest emerged early Thursday morning in the arrest report.
Shortly before 7 p.m., troopers say, they tried to stop a speeding 27-year-old Rachel Rubin, but she wouldn't stop.
According to the OHP, Rubin led troopers down the Creek Turnpike and Highway 169, then onto Interstate 44.
Rubin was waving at troopers during the pursuit , the report says. They were finally able to stop her when she got off the highway at Peoria.
Rubin reportedly told troopers she drank a 1/2 pint of vodka. There was an open bottle of vodka and a spilled mixed drink on the floor of the vehicle, OHP said.
She was arrested for DUI, eluding a police officer, speeding, transporting an open container and not having a driver's license with her during the pursuit.
She's due in court next week.
