Broken Arrow Police arrested a man they say attacked his half-brother with a child's baseball bat. Caleb Alexander Seay was booked on felony complaints of assault and battery and domestic assault and battery by strangulation.
Officers were called to the 800 block of West Waco Street Saturday afternoon and spoke to the victim, who had numerous bruises, scrapes and a severe headache, according to an arrest report.
The injured man told officers he'd asked Seay for some money his half-brother owed him. The 21-year-old Seay reportedly told his brother that he'd put the money in the victim's bedroom under his pillow.
"The victim reports walking back to bedroom and bending over to look under his pillow," the arresting officer said. That's when police say Seay started swinging a child's baseball bat, hitting his half-brother on the side of his head.
He swung several times, hitting the victim's arms, legs and rib cage, police say. Officers say the two men started wrestling, and Seay used the bat to choke his half brother.
When police arrived, they say Caleb Seay admitted attacking his brother and did not claim self-defense.
"He got what was coming to him," the man reportedly told Broken Arrow Police.
