Tulsa police are looking for a man they believe is connected to a shooting at a house on Sunday.

Sgt. Dave Walker says officers received a call about a fight at a home in the 500 block of North Maplewood at about noon. The caller told police there was a fight at the home and the caller heard a woman screaming and then a gunshot.

Officers found a 26-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the head. Police said EMSA took him to a hospital where he is listed in critical condition.

Walker says a large group of family members had gathered at the house the night before and Sunday there was a disturbance that ended with the shooting. One of the officers at the scene told News On 6 that "hundreds" of beer bottles littered the yard.

Police are looking for Roberto Urquiza, 49. He is 5’7”, 170 pounds, with a bald head and injuries to the right side of his face. Police found the vehicle he'd last been seen in the 11800 block of East 36th Street.

Walker believes someone is helping Urquiza hide from police. He is asking Urquiza to surrender so they can question him.

Anyone with information about where Roberto Urquiza is to call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
