A fire alarm at a Tulsa business had firefighters responding early Friday morning. Just after 5 a.m. firefighters were sent to the 7400 block of East 46th Place.
Upon arrival, firefighters found smoke coming from the roof of Lektron LED Lighting Technology and forced entry. Once inside, firefighters said they encountered heavy smoke and had to use a thermal imaging camera to find the fire.
Fire officials said they discovered the building’s sprinkler system had extinguished the fire which appeared to have been caused by an oven which had been left on. They said fire investigators will determine if that was the case.
Since the business was closed, no one was injured. Firefighters said damage to the business was not extensive.
