Our doctors and nurses at the Muscogee Creek Nation Department of Health said there's not too much going around this week. They have seen some sore throats and coughing, but nothing serious.
In Sapulpa at the Indian Health Center, Dr. Kathryn Zackery said she's seeing swimmers ear. That happens when water gets in the ear and causes a bacterial or fungal infection.
Some of the symptoms include: ear pain, swelling, tenderness and fever.
To clear up, what can be a painful condition, you may need to see the doctor to get on antibiotic eardrops. You can use earplugs to make sure no water gets in your ears.
