Thunderstorms producing heavy rain with lots of lightning moved across the Tulsa area Thursday morning. The storms started moving out of north central Oklahoma into northeastern Oklahoma just before 6 a.m.
The National Weather Service issued an Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for Tulsa County Thursday morning.

News On 6 meteorologist Michael Grogan says no warnings were issued but some of these storms produced heavy rain as they move eastward. He says areas north of Tulsa received over an inch of rain as the storms passed by.
A major concern was slick roads. Grogan says the lack of rain over the past couple of days means the heavy downpours caused roads to be slick.
You can track the thunderstorms and the rain with WARN Interactive Radar.
Grogan cautions drivers to not drive into areas where water covers the road.
