Some Green Country drivers just helped make a big donation to a great cause. Jim Glover Chevrolet donated $61,000 to the Folds of Honor Foundation Monday morning.
The money came from vehicles the dealership sold during the month of May.
Folds of Honor gives scholarships to children and spouses of service members who have been killed or disabled in Iraq and Afghanistan.
"Its about changing lives, right?" said Dan Rooney, founder of Folds of Honor.
"Not only to honor the sacrifice that our military men and women have made for our country, but I can think of no greater tribute than to educate their legacy."
Folds of Honor says it will give about half a million dollars in scholarships in Oklahoma this fall and by this fall, the organization will have awarded more than 8,000 scholarships to people in all 50 states.
