Tulsa Police Arrest Two Men After Stolen Car Chase

The Tulsa Police Department used its helicopter to locate two men it says were involved in a police pursuit Sunday night.

The Tulsa Police Department used its helicopter to locate two men it says were involved in a police pursuit Sunday night.

Officers attempted to make a traffic stop at 36th Street North and Peoria at about 11 p.m. but the Honda Accord took off headed west on 36th Street North and into a neighborhood.

Police said the driver and a passenger jumped out and ran. Officers said the Honda turned out to be stolen.

They called in the helicopter and its crew located Brian Harvey, 31 and his passenger, Matthew Hannah, 26. Officers arrested both men and took them to jail.

Harvey was booked into jail on complaints of possession of a stolen vehicle, eluding and interfering with a police officer. Hannah was booked on complaints of possession of a stolen vehicle and interfering with a police officer.

Jail records show both men have a court appearance set for July 15, 2014.
