Will Kavanagh and the Osage SkyNews 6 HD helicopter have teamed up with the Tulsa Air and Space Museum to give museum-goers an in-depth look at the technology found in a news helicopter.
Osage SkyNews 6 HD will be parked at the museum on July 5, 2014 from 10 a.m. to noon.
Attendees will be able to participate in an in-depth, interactive experience with the pilot and broadcast seats. The information session with Kavanagh is the first installment of a new program at the Tulsa Air and Space Museum titled Just Plane Talk, in which a new pilot and plane will land at the museum each month.
Museum-goers who arrive before 10 a.m. will be able to watch the chopper land from a safe, nearby area. Once on the ground, Kavanagh will show/tell attendees about:
-The main camera that reaches over 5 miles
-Flying Black Hawk helicopters during wartime
-The technology that sends the High Definition signal over the air
-Flying near tornados and other severe weather
-How fast and high the helicopter can fly
