Cops and doughnuts make a great pair, and this time they're were hanging out at a local shop for a good cause. The Tulsa County Sheriffs Office and Tulsa Police were out collecting donations for Special Olympics Oklahoma at the Krispy Kreme in South Tulsa.

More than 20 Oklahoma law enforcement agencies are participating and collection donations. They hope to raise $30,000 this year.

"Athletes who all compete all through the year, they all get to compete at no charge because people get to come out to events like this and make donations," said Deputy Justin Green, Tulsa County Sheriff's Office.

It's the 12th Annual fundraiser, and only one of the efforts law enforcement personnel make to support Special Olympics Oklahoma. They also participate through their involvement with the Law Enforcement Torch Run.
