Dennis Davis was on his way out the door for a chemotherapy treatment when he discovered thieves had stolen the custom wheels right off his truck.

He said it shook his sense of security, but it also affected how he would get to and from the hospital.

Since we told you about this story yesterday, Davis' insurance company picked up the car and processed the claim.

Davis' 20 hours of cancer treatments each week has prevented him from working. So not only is he out the wheels to get to treatment, but he's out of money in order to replace them.

He says he is raising money for the deductible but adds, "My faith in humanity was restored after seeing how many people were willing to help after Channel 6 did the story."

But he still has a way to go to reach his goal. If you'd like to pitch in, you can help Davis here.

If you know anything about the theft, you are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
