Evans Will Not Return To TU Basketball Team

Tulsa basketball coach Frank Haith indicated today that sophomore Lew Evans has received his scholarship release and will not return for the 2014-15 season.

Evans, a 6'8" forward, came to Tulsa from Casper College in Wyoming. He appeared in all 34 games with 22 starts last season, and averaged 5.3 points and 4.1 rebounds in 20.6 minutes per contest. He added 5.7 points and 4.6 rebounds in conference play.
