Arkansas Man Dies After Hit By Car East Of Stillwater

A Little Rock, Arkansas man was struck and killed by a car in rural Payne County early Saturday, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Troopers said Brandon Hatfield, 28, was walking on 19th Street east of Stillwater when an eastbound 2000 Pontiac driven by William Allen, 33, of Stillwater, struck him just before 1 a.m.

The OHP said Hatfield was pronounced dead at the scene from head injuries.

They said Allen and a passenger in his car were not injured.
