The CEO of Moody's Jewelry faced two charges for an incident that happened at a Tulsa restaurant earlier this month.

Kevin Moody, 55, has been charged with one felony count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and one misdemeanor count of public intoxication after the incident which occurred at the Blue Rose Cafe on the night of May 4, 2014.

News On 6 has learned other customers at the restaurant became concerned with Moody's behavior with a 17-year-old girl. The witnesses saw Moody and the girl enter the restaurant together and had then overheard what they believed were inappropriate conversations between Moody and the girl. They believed the two were under the influence of either drugs or alcohol and saw the girl drinking alcohol which Moody had ordered.

When Moody and the girl left the restaurant, the witnesses went outside and prevented them from leaving in Moody's SUV. The witnesses saw the girl and Moody get out of the SUV and walk down the river trail.

Eventually the police were called. Officers had EMSA paramedics check out the girl before having her mother pick her up.

They found Moody underneath the restaurant near the river and arrested him.

Moody became CEO of Moody's in February of 2013 after the sudden death of his brother, Ernest Moody, III.
