Rollover Tulsa Wreck Injures Two

Tulsa Police say a man and a child were injured when a possible drunk driver swerved in front of their vehicle. The wreck took place at about 2:30 a.m. Saturday on southbound Highway 169 near the 81st Street exit.

A man driving a Nissan pickup was swerving between lanes and clipped the front of an SUV, according to police. Both vehicles went rolling.

The pickup hit the center concrete barrier landing right side up. The SUV landed in the middle of the highway on its top.

Both the male driver and minor female child in the SUV were taken to a Tulsa hospital with unknown injuries. The driver of the pickup was taken into custody for possible drunk driving.

The southbound lanes of the highway between 81st and 91st Streets were closed for over an hour.
