Always wanted to try the art of fly fishing? You can get the skills for free at the fourth annual Fly Fishing 101 event Saturday at The Gadget Company, 15th and Boston.
Lessons are underway through 2 p.m. in the parking lot of the outdoor equipment store.
"We are so excited to be able to offer the Fly Fishing event again this year," Amy Adkins, owner of The Gadget Company, says.
"It's just a fun day for Tulsans to get out and learn something new."

Participants can explore different stations to learn about fly-fishing basics, equipment, fly tying and casting. The folks from Trout Unlimited and Orvis will be on hand to help. Oklahoma's Own Dick Faurot plans to be at the event Saturday morning as well, so be sure to say hello.
A portion of sales will go to benefit Project Healing Waters which helps supply U.S. veterans with fly-fishing equipment.
