A Bartlesville man has been charged with possession of child pornography and juvenile pornography after an undercover investigation by Bartlesville Police and the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.

According to court filed affidavit, Jim Brown was arrested in a 2013 OSBI investigation of users who downloaded child pornography via an Internet file sharing network.

Police said Brown, 61, was identified as one of those users.

In October 2013, police searched Brown's home in the 1500 block of South Madison and confiscated his computer.

Bartlesville Police stated in February 2014, they received a report on a forensic exam of Brown's computer. They said that exam turned up over 100 images of child pornography including images of children as young as age 2 engaged in various sex acts with other children and adults.

During a court hearing on March 27, 2014, Brown was ordered to be held on $20,000 bond with his next court appearance set for April 11, 2014.
