Gusty south winds whipped up another day of high fire danger. Osage Sky News 6 flew out toward Keystone Lake where a number of homes were at risk.

The Keystone firefighters called on neighboring departments to help. They managed to steer the flames away from houses.

Most of the charred ground we saw was in open pastures.

Osage SkyNews 6 was also over a fire that burned down the Turner Turnpike. Near Mullhall, flames devoured about 300 acres and several buildings, including at least two mobile homes.

There's no word on whether anyone was inside the homes.

Crews fought another fire north of Chandler Thursday afternoon. We're told this one burned up to 250 acres.

Firefighters were able to keep it from burning any homes.
