Tulsa guard Ashley Clark was named to the All-Conference USA Women's Basketball second team, as announced today by the league office.
Clark, a sophomore from Midwest City, Okla., has started in 25 of 27 games this season and has a team-best 14.5 points per game, 6.1 rebounds per game, 94 assists and 45 steals, and is second on the team with four blocks. She is eighth in assists, 12th in scoring and 15th in assist-turnover ratio among C-USA's best.
Clark has scored in double figures 22 times this season, and has led TU in scoring 15 times, rebounding 11 times, assists 12 times, steals 12 times and blocked shots twice.
Clark posted a career-best 26 points against East Carolina, 10 field goals against LA Tech, 10 free throws against ECU, 13 rebounds against Oral Roberts and eight assists against UAB all this season.
