High-Speed Police Chase From Catoosa To Coweta Ends With Crash

The Rogers County Sheriff's Office said the chase began at I-44 and 193rd East Avenue near the Hard Rock Casino at 12:25 a.m.

A man crashed his car while being chased by deputies from Catoosa to Coweta early Monday.

The Rogers County Sheriff's Office said the chase began at I-44 and 193rd East Avenue near the Hard Rock Casino at 12:25 a.m.

A deputy attempted to stop a car for a traffic violation when it sped off.

Deputies said the pursuit ended when the car crashed into a utility pole near 101st and Highway 51 on the north side of Coweta. He was taken to a Tulsa hospital. 

Deputies said the driver attempted to ram a patrol car and drove several other vehicles off the road during the chase.

They say they found narcotics and a number of guns inside the car. 

Deputies, Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers and Coweta Police officers took part in the chase.

Law enforcement has not yet released the identity of the suspect.
