A group of Green Country kids proved it's possible to be little and still make a very big difference.
The elementary students at Mingo Valley Christian School competed this week to see who can collect the most donations for the John 3:16 Mission.
The students divided into teams and brought things like canned goods, rice and beans.
The school is the biggest food donor to the mission, bringing in more than 15,000 pounds of food this year.
This event is about helping those in need and inspiring students.
"It's huge because our kids have the opportunity to see that they can make a difference in our community," superintendent Joel Staggers said. "That they can let god use them to bless others."
John 3:16 Mission has served more than 4 million meals since opening in 1952.
