Osage County Trailer Home Destroyed By Fire

Fire destroyed a trailer home northwest of Skiatook in Osage County early Friday, but the resident made it out safely.

Firefighters got the call to the home on West 178th Place North at around 3 a.m. Firefighters from Skiatook and the Morgan Corner fire departments responded to the fire.

Skiatook Fire Marshal Robert Nail says firefighters made sure the fire didn't spread from the area surrounding the home.

The homeowner believed several of his show rabbits died in the fire. The fire also destroyed two vehicles parked next to the home.

Cause of the fire remains under investigation.
