Missing Morris Man Found Dead In Overturned Truck

Morris Police say Henry Michael "Mike" Bear was found deceased in his overturned pickup truck Monday morning.

Morris Police say a missing man has been found dead in Okmulgee County. Detective Brandon Scranton said Henry Michael "Mike" Bear's body was found in his overturned vehicle at about 10 a.m. Monday on Old Morris Highway and Skyline Road.

"The Oklahoma Highway Patrol was notified and is investigating the accident," Scanton said in a news release. OHP was able to identify Bear and notify his family.

Bear, 53, had been last seen early Friday morning. He failed to arrive at work, and police issued a missing person's bulletin Saturday night. He was considered "at risk" because of medical conditions.

Scranton said the investigation will now center on the cause of Bear's death.
