Some area schools are changing schedules because of snow days. Some schools have already used 5 days - earlier in the year than usual.
Tulsa students missed three days from class because of the snow - but Muskogee missed five, and their school board has made a decision on what to do about it.
Normally this time of year, schools haven't missed that many days because of the weather. Down in Muskogee - they used up the days they had built into the calendar so starting in January - they'll add time to each school day.
Students will be in class 25 minutes longer each day - to make up the lost time.
Randall Jaquez, Muskogee Parent: I don't see a problem with it, that's a good way to get it done, kids still get their full summer.
Tulsa is just adding days onto the end of the year - but right now they're at the Friday before Memorial Day as the last day of school.
If Tulsa has to cancel any more days - they'll push the end of the year past Memorial Day. But so far, school here should end May 23rd.
