Winter temperatures and a chilly wind won't stop holiday parades in Green Country this weekend. Several of the parades were postponed in last weekend's snow and ice.

Owasso, Coweta, Muskogee, Mannford, Bartlesville, Claremore and Sapulpa are among the cities showing their Christmas cheer on Saturday.

U.S. Senator Jim Inhofe rode on horseback in Owasso's annual Christmas parade that started at 9 a.m. Muskogee's parade started at 11 a.m. with WARN Team Meteorologist Dick Fault at hand.

Many of the other parades are set for after dark with Tulsa's Parade of Lights, Claremore, Okmulgee and Coweta scheduled for 6 p.m.

Familiar News On 6 faces will be in downtown Tulsa for the annual parade. Thousands are expected to turn out for the event. It starts at 4th and Elgin and finishes at 1st and Elgin.

The parade route was modified due to a water line break Friday. See a map of the new route.
