Investigators in Delaware County said a man who was a witness to a man's hit-and-run death was found dead last weekend.
Donald Blevins lived in a motor home on land northeast of Jay. Police say a family friend found his body in the grass Sunday afternoon.
He had been shot once and a .20 gauge shotgun was by his side, but sheriff's deputies called the OSBI, because of evidence at the scene and Blevins' connection to an ongoing investigation that dates to earlier this month.
Jay Police arrested Stacy McKinney after her boyfriend, Lynn Edward Foreman, was found dead in the city park on November 6. The police chief said Donald Blevins first called and told them he drove by the park and found the body, but later changed his story to say that McKinney had told him she ran over Foreman with her car after an argument.

Investigators are still talking with other people about the case, but the police chief said the information they have now indicates that McKinney acted alone.
Officers said, until they get the autopsy results, they're holding McKinney on a complaint of leaving the scene of a fatal accident.
Capt. Gayle Wells of the Delaware County Sheriff's Office said they're not 100 percent sure what happened to Donald Blevins, but as the investigation continues, he said the picture is getting clearer.
"There was some items missing from the scene. We later learned that he had actually gone to a relative's the night before and left some of that personal property there," said Wells.
Wells said the medical examiner will make the final determination in regards to the manner of death and, as of right now, there's no timeframe for when that decision will come down.
