In coordination with Marshall University and the FOX Sports Network, The University of Tulsa has announced that kickoff time for tonight's Tulsa-Marshall football game has moved one minute.

The original kickoff time of 6:35 p.m. (CT) will now take place at 6:36 p.m. (CT). The change in time is to commemorate the 43rd anniversary of the November 14, 1970 plane crash of the Marshall football team.

On Nov. 14, 1970, at 7:36 pm (ET)/6:36 pm (CT), 75 people died in the worst sports related air tragedy in U.S. history, when a Southern Airways DC-9 crashed into a hillside on final approach to Tri-State Airport near Huntington, West Virginia. The victims included 37 Marshall University football players, 8 coaches and administrators, 25 fans and an flight crew of five. No one survived this horrific disaster.

In addition, a moment of silence will take place prior to the National Anthem at Thursday night's game. The Marshall football team will wear the number 75 on its helmets in memory of the plane crash victims.

A film dramatizing the crash of Flight 932 and its repercussions, We Are Marshall, premiered on December 12, 2006.

The Tulsa-Marshall game is televised on the FOX 1 Sports Network. Airtime for the broadcast begins at 6:30 pm (CT).
