Man Faces Several Charges After Tulsa Police Chase

Officers said the chase began when they tried to stop a car driven by Christopher Cowan, 42, near 51st and Harvard at around 11:45 p.m.

Tulsa Police arrested a man after a chase late Tuesday.

Officers said the chase began after they attempted to stop a car near 51st and Harvard at around 11:45 p.m. It ended a short time later on a dead end street near 55th and Delaware.

Police surrounded the car and arrested the driver, who they identify as Christopher Cowan, 42.

Police booked him into jail on complaints of eluding, speeding in a construction zone, driving under suspension, obstructing a police officer and being in possession of stolen property.

Jail records show Cowan's bond is $17,350. He has a court appearance set for November 20.

Police haven't said why the wanted to stop Cowan's car in the first place.
