Body Found Near Park In Jay

Jay Police Chief Mike Shambaugh has confirmed a body was found near a park in their community Wednesday morning.

Shambaugh told the Delaware County Journal, the body is that of a male between the ages of 30 and 40 and was found on the north side of the park at about 7:15 a.m.

The Jay Police Department is investigating along with assistance from the Delaware County Sheriff's Office and the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.
