Woman Killed In Crash At Sapulpa Intersection

A woman is dead after a crash at a Highway 66 intersection in Sapulpa late Thursday.

Sapulpa Police said the crash happened at the intersection of West 81st Street and New Sapulpa Road/Highway 66 at about 10:30 p.m.

Officers said the 47-year-old woman was eastbound on 81st Street when her Toyota Camry collided with a Honda Fit that was southbound on New Sapulpa Road. The Toyota ended up in the ditch and the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

Paramedics took the man who was driving the Honda to the hospital. He was in surgery at last report.

Sapulpa Police say it's not clear yet which driver had the green light at the time of the crash.
