Police: Man Shot In Back Outside Tulsa Convenience Store

Tulsa police are investigating after a man was shot during some sort of argument outside the Dash Inn convenience store at 1500 East Apache Street late Monday.

Tulsa police are investigating after a man was shot during an argument outside the Dash Inn convenience store at 1500 East Apache Street late Monday.

Officers got the call at about 9 p.m.

Police said two men approached the victim in the parking lot and during a struggle one of the two men shot the victim in the back with a handgun.

Police say two relatives of the victim attempted to take him to the hospital in their car, but called for an ambulance at Lewis Avenue and Apache. EMSA took the 30-year-old man the rest of the way.

EMSA said the man was in critical condition, but police said the victim is expected to survive.

Tulsa Police said they are looking for two men, both wearing black clothing and believed to be driving a dark-colored Dodge Intrepid.
