Police ID Body Found In North Tulsa Vacant Lot

Tulsa Police have tentatively identified a body found Wednesday in tall grass at a vacant lot near a McLain High School.

Homicide detectives say the decomposed body is that of 35-year-old Terrence Monroe Washington.

Workers getting ready to mow the lot in the 4900 block of North Peoria came upon the body.

Police say the state Medical Examiner's Office will determine the cause and manner of Washington's death.

Detectives want to talk to anyone who might have had contact with Washington recently.
