A woman charged with causing the Broken Arrow wreck that killed one woman and injured her younger sister pleaded guilty to first degree manslaughter and DUI charges Tuesday.

Police say Donna Louise Murphy, 46, was intoxicated on June 26, 2012, when she crashed her car into a van driven by 27-year-old Janie Hansen, at the intersection of 21st Street and Lynn Lane.

Janie Hansen died from her injuries and her sister, 18-year-old Anna Johnston was critically injured.

News On 6 spoke with Johnston last September, when she was going through physical therapy to improve her coordination and balance.

Murphy's sentencing is scheduled for October 21.
