A teenage Tulsa mother is in jail for driving under the influence with her two small children in the car.
Arresting officers say Destiny Copelin, 19, was driving on the wrong side of the road in the 14100 block of East 24th Place South just before 8 p.m. Sunday.
Police say they saw Copelin pull over and "engage in a fist fight" with someone while her two small children watched.
Officers say Copelin smelled like alcohol, had blood-shot eyes and staggered. She tried to escape during the arrest then hit the inside of a patrol car with her feet and head, an arrest report states.
Police found an open bottle of vodka in the Copelin's car and say her two small children were not in proper child restraints.
Destiny Copelin was booked into jail on two counts of child endangerment, DUI under 21, transporting an open container, driving on the wrong side of the road, resisting arrest and violating child safety codes.
She is being held in lieu of a $51,000 bond.
