Sand Springs Man Charged With Domestic Assault, Child Abuse

A Sand Springs man is in jail following an alleged domestic assault on July 30.

Ryan Mock, 25, is charged with domestic assault and battery by strangulation, assault with a dangerous weapon and child abuse by injury stemming from an incident at a Sand Springs home.

Police said officers were sent to the home in the 700 block of North Grant at 11 p.m.

A woman told officers Mock choked her during an argument in front of several young children. Court records state a toddler in the home was also injured during the incident.

Mock was charged Thursday and arrested and booked into the Tulsa County jail. His bond is set at $56,000.

He has a court appearance set for Aug. 15.
