Man Running From Tulsa Police Surprises Motel Guests

The occupants of a Tulsa motel room got a rude awakening early Friday when a man running from police burst into their room.

Tulsa Police said David Ketcher, 34, had led them on a high-speed chase on Charles Page Boulevard, after officers attempted a traffic stop.

After pulling into the Holiday Hotel in the 3200 block of Charles Page, Ketcher got out of his car and ran into a room.

The people in the room called for help. Officers entered the room and arrested Ketcher.

Police booked into the Tulsa County jail on complaints of eluding, hit and run, first degree burglary and having no driver's license.

Jail records show Ketcher has an August 16 court date.
