When the Central Library closes for a two-year renovation project, readers in downtown Tulsa won't be without a library. Librarium, the Tulsa City-County Library's temporary downtown spot will open September 3 to fill the gap.

TCCL held a briefing to let customers know what to expect from Librarium, with its all-new collections and customer experiences. Librarium is going to be located at a former grocery store at 11th and Denver.

Organizers say it will be arranged like a retail bookstore and will offer thousands of books, DVDs, a business center and a technology center where customers can try out iPads, tablets, Nooks and Kindles.

The Central Library will close August 30. Learn more about the renovation project.
