Center Of The Universe Festival Organizers Say Attendance Doubled Expectations

Tulsa is well on its way to becoming the center of the music world. Organizers of the first Center of the Universe festival say this weekend's concert attendance shattered their expectations.

Spokesperson Ashley Fuller said she'll confirm the numbers Tuesday, but 100,000 people over two days is a fair estimate.

That's more than twice what they were anticipating.

The festival was always meant to be an annual event and Fuller said the debut turnout solidified the festival's return in 2014.
