Elizabeth Cambage of the Tulsa Shock was named the WNBA's Western Conference Player of the Week on Monday.

Cambage, the second overall selection in the 2011 WNBA draft, is a first-time recipient of Player of the Week honors. Cambage's 16.3 points, 2.0 assists and conference-leading 13.3 rebounds guided the Shock to a 3-0 week. Her two double-doubles helped Tulsa defeat its opponents by an average of 20 points, including two 27-point wins.

In an 86-59 victory over Seattle on July 17, Cambage scored 13 points while grabbing eight rebounds. On July 19, she scored another 13 points and pulled down 17 rebounds, including 10 on the offensive glass in a 64-58 win over Connecticut. Cambage ended her week with a 23-point effort, adding 15 rebounds and three assists to defeat Atlanta 90-63.

Cambage and the Shock will face Indiana on Thursday at 11:30 a.m.
