Street Crews Clean Up East Tulsa Asphalt Material Spill

The tailgate of a dump truck loaded with asphalt material apparently malfunctioned Wednesday morning leading to a spill on 129th East Avenue at 4th Street South.

Traffic in both directions was reduced to one lane as Tulsa firefighters along with a City of Tulsa front end loader crew helped clear the roadway.

Officials say the asphalt material is the type used to fill potholes.
