Mayes County Man Accidentally Killed By Tractor

A Green Country man died Wednesday after being pinned by his tractor in Mayes County.

The Highway Patrol says 69-year-old Larry Day was standing behind the right rear tire of his John Deere tractor Wednesday evening, working on a mower that was attached to the tractor.

The mower suddenly moved and pinned Day between the mower and the tractor.

He died at the scene.
