Trooper Stops Speeding Pickup, Arrests Driver For DUI

An Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper arrested a driver Friday morning after stopping a speeding pickup truck on I-244 near Sheridan.

The trooper and a Tulsa County Sheriff's deputy stopped the pickup at about 2 a.m.

The driver pulled over in a Denny's parking lot.

After conducting a field sobriety check, the trooper arrested the driver and took him to the Tulsa County jail for suspicion of Driving Under the Influence.
