Some Tulsa teenagers are reaching out to help our neighbors in need.
Seven members of the Tulsa Police Explorers headed out Friday morning to tornado-ravaged Moore. The group wasn't sure exactly how they'd be helping, but know they'll be making a difference.
"We're teenagers interested in a career in law enforcement, so we decided it would be a good idea to go down there and help and see what we can do," said Tulsa Police Explorer Curtis Rinkel.
This is the first time the Explorers will help in a disaster situation.
Their work will help them get the Emergency Preparedness Ribbon, which is part of the program.
