American Airlines is helping Oklahoma tornado victims.

They gave $50,000 to the Red Cross at American's Tulsa Maintenance Base.

After opening their wallets, they also opened their closets. With the help of the Transport Worker's Union Local 514, they filled three trucks with clothing, blankets and food for victims.

"During any crisis, we all come together and we are very giving and we just wanted to share that experience with our family here in Oklahoma City," said American Airlines OKC General Manager Greg Paglini.

The Red Cross also encouraged employees at American Airlines to donate blood.
